1. CANCELLATION, AMENDMENTS AND RETURNS
1.1
This policy does not apply to goods ordered by businesses which are exempt from the Consumer Contracts Regulations, or the following goods which are exempt from the right to cancel:
Any items which have been custom-made, including custom colours, custom finishes, or specially ordered materials.
1.2
You can cancel your contract at any time up to 14 days after the day of delivery. To do this, please email or write to us. We are unable to accept cancellations by phone. Please refer to point 1.1 for items exempt from this term.
1.2.1
Any cancellation within 7 days of ordering and before dispatch will not incur any cancellation fees.
1.2.2
Any order cancellation after 7 days of ordering and before dispatch will incur a £75 administration fee.
1.2.3
Any cancellation after dispatch will incur a £100 administration and restocking fee.
1.3
You do not have to provide a reason for cancellation. However, a brief explanation will help us improve the service we offer to customers in the future.
1.4
If you cancel and the goods have been dispatched to you, you must return the goods within 14 days of cancellation, complete with the original packaging, to AH Electricians and/or our supplier (or any other UK address specified by us), at your own expense. You must ensure that the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage during transit.
1.5
We will refund all monies paid to us by you, including any applicable delivery charges, within 30 days, less any costs due under this contract. Please refer to points 1.1 and 1.2 for exemptions.
1.6
We reserve the right not to replace any item that has been fitted or installed, as this will be deemed acceptance of the goods.
1.7
AH Electricians will not be held liable for installer fees or any other professional tradesperson fees due to late, damaged, or lost deliveries.
1.8
We are not liable for any loss of earnings, business interruption, or consequential losses due to late, incorrect, or lost deliveries.
1.9
We reserve the right to refuse replacements on any damaged items reported outside a reasonable period after delivery or installation.
1.10
If you wish to amend your order, we will endeavour to accommodate your request, but we cannot guarantee that amendments will be possible.
1.10.1
You may amend your order within 7 days of ordering and before dispatch free of charge.
1.10.2
Any order amendment made after 7 days of ordering and before dispatch will incur a £75 administration charge.
1.10.3
You cannot amend your order once it has been dispatched.
1.10.4
Any amendment to your order may impact delivery lead times. We will notify you if your EV charger, accessories, or related equipment are likely to be delayed as a result of any amendment.
1.11
This cancellation policy does not affect your statutory rights, including your rights relating to faulty goods.
2. FAULTY GOODS / GUARANTEE
2.1
AH Electricians guarantees that all EV charger installations will be carried out with reasonable care and skill and in accordance with current UK electrical regulations and industry standards.
2.2
Manufacturer warranties for EV chargers and associated equipment remain subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant manufacturer.
2.3
Any faults relating to workmanship should be reported to AH Electricians as soon as reasonably possible. We reserve the right to inspect and assess any reported fault before agreeing to repair, replace, or remedy the issue.
3. LIABILITY
3.1
The products and EV charging equipment sold or installed by AH Electricians have been designed to comply with all relevant UK legislation and regulations. We cannot warrant or represent that they comply with any legal requirements outside the United Kingdom.
3.2
In no event will AH Electricians accept liability for any loss, costs, or consequential damage arising from the use and/or misuse of EV charging equipment or associated products, except where such loss is caused by our negligence.
3.3
In no event will AH Electricians accept liability for any loss, costs, or consequential damage due to the aborted installation of an EV charge point where it is not safe, practical, or legally compliant to install.
3.4
The liability of AH Electricians under this Agreement shall be limited to the total amount invoiced to the customer in r
elation to the relevant goods and/or services supplied.
